The Bollywood themed cafe, Bol Gappa located in Riverland serves some lip-smacking multi-cuisine dishes with a dash of desiness. I love the way each dish has been given a desi touch to it. Primarily serving Indian cuisine, the menu boasts of some Asian and Italian dishes too.
We started off with some fusion chaat. Crunchy nachos Mexican bhel and chole tikki chaat both had the right flavors of a roadside desi chaat. Next up was the chicken khurana, something similar to a chicken 65, it was deep fried and tossed in a delicious sauce and curry leaves. We also loved the Chilli mushrooms and the creamy pau bhaji fondue. I’m sure you are going to love it too.
For the mains we had a yummy chicken tikka masala served with some butter naan, chicken biryani which was decent. Bol Gappa tries to incorporate a bit of desi Chinese and Italian too and pretty much does a good job. Their crispy schezwan chicken over a bed of noodles is something you shouldn’t miss.
Bol Gappa serves a variety of desserts too, I simply loved the sizzling walnut brownie with ice cream and their gulab jamuns. Their service is on point too, our server Raj was very informative and all his recommendations were loved by all of us. If you are visiting Bollywood parks anytime make sure you stop at bol gappa for a quick lunch or dinner that you’ll definitely enjoy it.
