Next up, we had a locally sourced grilled hammour which was super fresh and grilled to perfection. We had the lobster and prawns ragout, which has a creamy white sauce with wine and button mushroom. The friend with whom I was dining with told me that it like the one his mother cooked *nostalgic feels*. He also had some beef tenderloin in a pepper and mushroom sauce at the side. I could see it on his face that he was a happy camper just like me. Thai coconut curry was next, served with prawn crackers and rice. Loved this one.
For desserts, we had the caramel apple granny – caramel and toffee custard with granny apples in the crust and also the Ricotta brûlée cheesecake. Both desserts were good and we loved it.
Longs bar has promotions going on almost every night, it has a ladies night every Tuesday, where ladies get 2 selected beverages for free. Also, has a hoteliers night where it’s 50% off for all hoteliers. They have a DJ playing every day except for Sunday’s. I also want to mention here about their Friday brunch which starts at AED 165 only. I would highly recommend this if you are in a mood for a drink or two accompanied by some great food. Two thumbs up for team Rotana
