After spreading waves in the US and being called as the celebrity hotspot, sugar factory has opened its doors in dubai. Located at the festival city mall, sugar factory has already earned its audience in dubai. Famous for their celebrity endorsed couture pops, sugar factory has a lot more to it than bling. Serving a full fledged breakfast, lunch and dinner menu, they don’t disappoint even a bit. The menu is pretty extensive, serving American, Tex mex, Italian cuisine.
So we arrived at their gorgeous festival City restaurant on a lazy Friday afternoon. The interiors are colorful and go well with the theme of the restaurant. We were ushered to our table by the restaurant supervisor Muhammad and we were all set to try their new menu which was launched a few days earlier. The one thing you must have in here is their goblets. These are 60 oz signature drinks which have a pretty amazing presentation and yes they taste yummy. We had two of these goblets, the lollipop passion, which is their best seller and the ocean blue. It’s pretty insane to see all the theatrics that take place when the drink is poured in front of you. Keep your phones and cameras handy you don’t want to miss this. Normally these drinks are done with alcohol but the Dubai branches don’t serve alcohol so this can be a perfect place for kids and teenagers to enjoy. Why not throw a birthday party?. I personally loved the lollipop passion which is a pretty tropical drink with coconut, pineapple and melon with 2 huge lollipops and a candy bracelet.
Coming to the food, Muhammad was kind enough to give us some really good suggestions. We tried their fried bao sliders, which are a must try. Buffalo chicken fingers which hit the spot, chicken and cheese donut which was pretty unique and delicious in taste. We also had the Mac and cheese pops, which is your regular fried Mac n cheese with marinara sauce. We went on to get the Greek wedding pizza which is a celebration of ingredients made into a hearty pizza.
By this time We were almost full but we had an array of desserts to try. They have the very famous insane milkshake which are the freakshakes you don’t want to miss. We had 2 out of the 7 selection they have in it. The picture below will tell you how insane it was, this one is called the dulce de Leche, It’s a chocolate covered mug with caramel and popcorn filled with ice cream, whipped cream, dulce de leche and a chocolate covered upside down waffle cone and candy. We also got the tie dye milkshake which has cotton candy, so all the cotton candy fans make sure you get your hands on one of these bad boys.
Muhammad insisted that we have the Oreo pancakes, so we did and they were beyond amazing. Fluffy Oreo crushed pancakes with ice cream, chocolate sauc and almond Oreo crumbs. Teamed with a hot cup of americano it cannot get better than this. I still have to try a lot from their menu some interesting dishes I have in my mind on my next visit. You guys have to try this one. Highly recommended!
