Imagine this, gourmet hotdogs on benches outdoor on a chilly Dubai evening! A Perfect picnic setting. Sounds good, isn’t it? The Hot Hog stand in Dubai Marina offers you a small yet a nice outdoor seating which is perfect for Dubai winters and with some good food this feels like a short picnic or you could have a better experience at their last exit food truck.
So talking about the food, the hot dog stand serves signature hot dogs in two kinds of meat, chicken, and beef. You can also make your own hot dogs by mixing your favorite ingredients and sauces. We had their signatures, The Mexican [AED 28] and the California fusion [AED 27]. The Mexican was a fully loaded hot dog with Guac, Sour cream, nachos, salsa sauce and lots of cheese. The Californian fusion, on the other hand, was very American with onion rings, Californian spread and lots of melted cheddar
We ordered some sides with our hot dogs too, Boneless buffalo wings [AED 32] and Onion rings [AED 15]. While the wings were delicious, the onion rings weren’t as crispy as I’d like them to be. The hot dog stand offers lemonades and milkshake too but we ordered the Mexico’s favorite soda, Jarritos! which comes in 4 flavors ( the hot dog stand had 4 flavors ), we had the lime and the pineapple, not too different from any other soda.
Lastly, Churros! Ice Cream Churros [AED 25], yes you heard me right. Churros are made into a shape of a bowl, loaded with ice cream and drizzled with chocolate sauce topped with a sprig of mint. Hits the spot right! They also serve the regular churros which come with 2 dipping sauces.
Average cost for two: AED 100 (approx.)
