Located in the Uber cool box park, this is the world’s first Yamaha cafe. It boasts of Yamaha superbikes right in the cafe. You can enjoy PlayStation games on actual Yamaha superbikes while waiting for your food, how cool is that? The place also sells Yamaha merchandise and I think it would be every bike lover’s dream to visit this place. The Cafe serves Japanese cuisine and most of their dishes are named after their famous superbikes or jet skies.
We started off with a couple of drinks namely, Japanese ice Macha and the Oreo shake and both drinks failed to impress us and after that, there were an array of dishes to stun us. Crab salad – One of their best salads, crab meat is mixed with thinly sliced cucumbers and seaweed all combined together with some spicy mayonnaise. LOVED IT! FX Tempura Cruiser – Golden fried crispy battered prawns served with a lovely sweet chilly dip. Spicy Rider Sushi – This was my favorite, spicy mayonnaise coated prawn tempura with rice, seaweed, and cucumber. Wolverine vegetable roll – again another favorite, a sushi with avocado, cucumber, carrots springs onions and sesame seeds. Cucumber rolls – An appetizer made of fresh cucumber roll stuffed with cream cheese, carrot, and capsicum. Super Jet chicken noodle – this was an interesting soup and I pretty much loved it. Clear soup, fat noodles with fried chicken and nuts.
Desserts were pretty nice we were served the Charcoal cheesecake with charcoal cake roll and a scoop of ice cream went well with it. Finally, we ended our meal with their Macha Green Tea which has a few steps before you can drink it. Tea powder is mixed with hot water and whisked for a few mins till it becomes frothy. The tea has a bitter taste and supposed to be very healthy after meals. If you love bikes and Japanese food then this is the place for you.
